Our Why

Transitioning to 1:1 devices in my classroom brought about the biggest headache at the end of every day when students switched back to my homeroom and I was staring at a line of 22+ students trying to quickly put away their laptops.  The tussle over charging cords, and the mix-up of device homes was maddening.  The considerate students were wonderful, but somewhat slow at finding and matching up all the things.   I knew this process could be BETTER!  I didn't know it could be EFFORTLESS!  After transitioning to a color coded sequence that matched the port, device, and cord, the arguments and confusion dropped to ZERO and the students loved this touch of personalization.  Quite literally everyone's mood was better during this routine transition.  Since using this system, I've never had to assist or help students with these routines again.  Teachers have enough to think about so being able to eliminate this frustration is a given!
